Officers

John Swaney, President

John in currently President of the NCBAA. His present employment is captain for TWC Aviation in San Jose, CA. Previous to captain at TWC John's role was Chief Pilot of San Jose based Hewlett Packard company. John joined HP in 2008 and has the responsibility ofleading HP's International Flight Operations and GV aircraft. Prior to the HP acquisition of EDS Corp in 2008, John held several roles at EDS Corp over a 22 year span lastly as Chief Pilot. He flys a regular line schedule at HP. He is type rated in LR-Jet, LR-60, G-IV, G-V, CL-60, and S-76, and has logging over 18000+ accident/incident free hours. John attended Letourneau University in Business and Aviation.

John presently serves on the Gulfstream Advisory Board for Flight Operations. Past volunteer positions include serving on the board of the Love Field Pilots Association and the Love Field Noise Planning Action Committee.

Brian Adamcik, Vice President

Brian Adamcik is the Chief Pilot for Marmalade Skies, which operates a Gulfstream V aircraft out of San Jose, CA. Brian joined Marmalade Skies in 2004 after flying numerous aircraft in the U.S. Air Force, which included a NATO assignment in Belgium where he was selected to become one of the first U.S. Air Force pilots qualified to fly the Gulfstream V.

Brian attended the University of Texas and earned a Bachelor’s degree majoring in Aerospace Engineering. He is an active participant at all levels of the NBAA and is keen to the legislative and regulatory issues facing the industry. In 2010 he spearheaded the registration of Marmalade Skies into IS-BAO and SMS standards.

Rod Lundy, Secretary/Treasurer

Rod Lundy is employed as Chief Pilot with Group Holdings Aviation based at San Jose. Rod joined Group Holdings Aviation in August of 2009. Prior to that, Rod was previously employed with the Bombardier Demonstration Team for 13 years where he held roles as Standards & Training Captain, Customer Liaison pilot, as well as Chief Pilot.

He is currently flying the Falcon 900B, 900EZ, and a Falcon 50. He currently has over 12000 hours accident/incident free hours and is typed in LRJET, LR45, LR60, DA20, DA50, DA900, CL300, BD700. Group Holdings Aviation recently received their IS-BAO Level 3 certification.

Robert S. Pocica, Director at Large

Is employed by McKesson Corporation as Senior Vice President and Chief Security Officer where he is responsible for the security and safety of McKesson’s people, product and property. Mr. Pocica also manages McKesson’s Executive Travel and Services Department.

Previously, Mr. Pocica was employed at Pfizer Inc. as Senior Director of Global Security, where his responsibilities included the oversight of all aspects of security – personnel, physical and asset – on a global basis, as well as training, policy development and budget oversight. Prior to joining Pfizer, Mr. Pocica spent 23 years with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and served in the U.S. Navy. Educational achievements include receiving a Masters of Public Administration from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Business Administration, with a major in Banking and Finance from Stetson University.

Mr. Pocica has earned recognition as a Certified Fraud Examiner. Volunteer positions include serving in the HealthCare Distribution Management Association, International Security Management Association, American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS), ASIS Chief Security Officers Roundtable, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, The Conference Board, Security Council Board Member, Society of Former Special Agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Board of Advisors Economic Crime Institute Utica College, and the Stetson University Alumni Leadership Program.
